7th February 2022 – First Cohort on Engineer Surveyor Apprenticeship Developed by SAFed – SAFed have been working closely with Fareham College to deliver a brand-new Level 4 Engineer Surveyor Apprenticeship.

SAFed is pleased to announce that the Engineer Surveyor Trailblazer Apprenticeship, which has been some years in development within a SAFed Technical Committee, is now being delivered at Fareham College in their state-of-the-art facilities and award-winning Civil Engineering Training Centre (CETC). – READ MORE

4th January 2022 – Member Communication – Electronic Submission of Adverse Inspection Reports (AIRs) to the HSE

SAFed have been working closely with the Operational Support Manager of the HSE Field Operations Directorate Divisional Support Team for some 12 months on a project to provide a digitalised means of submitting Adverse Inspection Reports (AIRs). – READ MORE

14th December 2021 – SAFed Celebrates Milestone – Safety Assessment Federation 25th Anniversary Dinner

SAFed celebrated its 25th anniversary with a dinner for members on Thursday, 18th November. The anniversary itself was actually in July 2020, but this went largely unnoticed as a result of the Covid pandemic. READ MORE

31st August 2021 – SAFed successful in achieving Direct Claim Status for the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) Level 4 Engineer Surveying Qualification Member Communications and SAFed News Page

The RQF is a qualification built for the industry by the industry and has been developed within SAFed Technical Committee 6 over a number of years.READ MORE

10th August 2021 – SAFed Welcomes Beth Wilson – Cumbrian Sixth Former joins Leading UK Trade Association

SAFed is pleased to welcome Beth Wilson, as their first Summer Intern. Beth, who hails from Wigton in North-West Cumbria, will spend a four-week placement working alongside Chief Executive, Caroline Hamilton, Technical Manager, Joe Royle and Office and Finance Manager, Jane Bertini. READ MORE
