Current Projects

TC 1 meets on a regular basis to discuss any matter affecting the inspection of Pressure Equipment. In addition it produces from time to time specific SAFed Guidelines and Guidance to meet arising situations.

Current work programme:

TC1- 01 SS01: 2001 - Recruitment, training and competency of engineer surveyors - Technical questions for competence examinations - Pressure Discipline. Monitor
TC1 - 04 SAFed Guidance - Provide a Written Scheme of Examination (WSE) for pressure vessels which considers/includes associated pipework. In progress
TC1 - 05 SAFed Guidance - Agreed protocol for completing and reporting examinations undertaking i.a.w PSSR 2000 WSE. In progress
TC1 - 06 Defect Data Collection - Collation of number of serious defects identified by member companies during in-service examinations of pressure systems. Annually
